About Me.

Half the world away, to community projects
My career hasn't followed a straight line, and I think that's exactly what makes me, me.
I'm a marketer, communicator and business-minded creative who has built a career around understanding people and businesses and getting results; across travel, hospitality, healthcare, charities and start-ups.

One of my biggest chapters began when I left the UK for Sri Lanka, where I spent eight years building my freelance business, raising my two daughters and running marketing for a group of luxury boutique hotels. Eventually opening and managing my own guest house. for over 1,000 guests from around the world. What an adventure!
Back in the UK, I stayed close to travel as a director promoting luxury Sri Lankan accommodation to the trade and carried out developing Layout Marketing. Along the way, I found myself drawn to work that meant something beyond the bottom line, supporting a healthcare charity and an early years membership organisation.
Alongside that, I've worked with a Dragons' Den-backed health product business and a company that celebrates the UK's Top 100 fastest-growing businesses.

So, what makes me different?

I've been on both sides of the marketing equation — the freelancer, the business owner, the director, and the person helping other businesses tell their story and grow. That means I don't believe in marketing for marketing's sake. I want to understand what you're trying to achieve, who you're trying to reach, and how we communicate that in a way that actually connects.

I'm curious, adaptable, and happiest getting under the skin of a business. My journey has taken me from the UK to Sri Lanka and back, across industries and into some unexpected places, but the constant has always been the same: I love helping good businesses, people and ideas get seen.
